2. Sunbeam Pune
Rank 300-500
I got very positive feedback from my friends who are in c-dac banglure main campus,since there are many companies you may get more opportunities.
3. C-DAC Knowledge Park
Rank 400-700
It as very good faculty .Almost all the students get placed here every year.
4. C-DAC Hyderabad
Rank 200-1000 (It depends on the course which you select)
C-DAC hyderabad is very good for the course PG-DESD.
PG-DESD course is in hyderbad is better than pune HQ as per the past feedback.It as very good placement record in hyd for PG-DESD course.Rank for PG-DESD is 1-300.
PG-DAC as no good placement record from few years.Rank for PG-DAC is 700-1600.
PG-DSSD course is good and many students get placed.Rank for PG-DSSD is 700-1200.
5. IACSD pune
Rank 800-2000 (It offers only one course PG-DAC)
In year 2012 its seats have been increase and it as 150 plus seats for dac course.
It as very good infra structure, good faculty mainly for JAVA and best faculty for DBT.
If you want to gain knowledge then this is the best place to land better than sunbeam pune ,but sunbeam is one step ahead during the placement.
6. C-DAC Mumbai
Rank 800-2000 (depends on course and institute)
It as got both negative as well as positive feedback.Before you plan to get into CDAC mumbai contact any passout students for the placement percentage.
7.C-DAC Chennai
There are also few seats offered by Cdac Chennai and its first come first serve.
Hope number of seats increase in future.

The order should be like that:
PUNE ACTS, Sunbeam Pune, IACSD PUNE, Subeam Karad, Bangalore KP and so on.... Inspite of yr gap u will get many options at any of the Pune centre. bangalore KP is also good in terms of placemnts.

Your B.E marks will cut off many options there . But u will get some options for sure. At the end of recruitment drive few companies used to come and they shortlist on the basis of ur performance in CDAC itself.

My question is that is there any interview round after allotment of seat in any cdac centre or authorised training centre. I have heard from someone that entrance in cdac is through c-cat and interview.. if something like that????
You have at least 60% throughout which is very good as far I know bcs there r many people struggling to get a job and joins CDAC. You will get ample opportunities. all the best.

I don think your 2012 batch will create problems. Its better to join CDAC if u want a change.

Can you please tell me which cdac center i am likely to get?
I have filled my choices in the following order:
1. cdac Pune
2. All private centers in pune
3. cdac bangalore(both main centers)
4. All private centers in bangalore
5. All mumbai centers
6. cdac Hyderabad
7. cdac Noida
8. Delhi center
And one more thing, is it worth pursuing the course from any of the centers in Pune, Bangalore, Mumbai region? Since I have heard each city has common placement program.
You may ger mumbai centre but cant say anything rigidly based on ranks. Lastly I must say no need to go Noida or Delhi as the placemnt options r not good there at all.
And is there any way to change preference, if would like to opt for a seat in a lower preferred institute of my list, i.e. if I am getting a seat in Mumbai first and then Hyderabad then in this can I go for Hyderabad?
Doing pg dac course is of any value? I mean will it be counted as experience/ will it add value to my resume, irrespective of the center?
Will it give me advantage over normal btech freshers of 2014 batch?

one of my friend from cdac pune told me that they have same placement center(cdac HQ) for 2/3 centers like sunbeam,mumbai n pune itself..
on the other hand hyderabad is the only center for its placements..
dont u think cdac hyderabad wud b better for placements??
but he insisted pune teaching is best..

The only thing I can suggest u is to do CDAC if anf only if u have got a good rank that is , if u get a good centre. Meanwhile u can continue ur preparations bcs thats a backbone to ur career.

I know its a tough decision to make but see ur present day situation. If ur area of working is not as per ur interst and needs, better to take this decision as of now bcs You wont get another chance to take these bold decisions too.

actually i have got an interview call and they are providing me job before 6 months embedded training..
so the process is like: they will take my interview and according to the intrview they will ofeer a salary between 1.8-2.5LPA..
so my doubt is..should i go for this training coz job is guranteed or should i go for CDAC where neither job nor salary is guraunteed..
and if job is offered how much minimum package is offered to DESD HYD candidates because i got HYD for DESD...
