c-dac HQ has been the best from the start.

2. Sunbeam Pune

Rank 300-500
I got very positive feedback from my friends who are in c-dac banglure main campus,since there are many companies you may get more opportunities.

3. C-DAC Knowledge Park

Rank 400-700
It as very good faculty .Almost all the students get placed here every year.

4. C-DAC Hyderabad

Rank 200-1000 (It depends on the course which you select)
C-DAC hyderabad is very good for the course PG-DESD.
PG-DESD course is in hyderbad is better than pune HQ as per the past feedback.It as very good placement record in hyd for PG-DESD course.Rank for PG-DESD is 1-300.
PG-DAC as no good placement record from few years.Rank for PG-DAC is 700-1600.
PG-DSSD course is good and many students get placed.Rank for PG-DSSD is 700-1200.

5. IACSD pune

Rank 800-2000 (It offers only one course PG-DAC)

In year 2012 its seats have been increase and it as 150 plus seats for dac course.
It as very good infra structure, good faculty mainly for JAVA and best faculty for DBT.
If you want to gain knowledge then this is the best place to land better than sunbeam pune ,but sunbeam is one step ahead during the placement.

6. C-DAC Mumbai

Rank 800-2000 (depends on course and institute)

It as got both negative as well as positive feedback.Before you plan to get into CDAC mumbai contact any passout students for the placement percentage.

7.C-DAC Chennai

There are also few seats offered by Cdac Chennai and its first come first serve.
Hope number of seats increase in future.

I have done b.tech in ec with 74.4% and 12 with 63% and 10 with 70%..
and got sunbeam karad for dac. if i will face any problem in dac course as i have done btech in ec branch.. and if i can get placement or not in IT companies????

but m worried about the salary being offered after joining cdac batch..
if it is almost same why shouls i go for HYD if i can get it at my hometown..

EC will not create any problem . In fact companies prefer EC guys over others and for ur kind info EC also comes under IT. Dont worry . Just go for it and it shares common placemnt as well. all the best

I dont think there is an option to change it. You can wait to see if u get any institute in PUNE. HYD DESD is also good but ur rank is quite good . You can join any sunbeam institute at pune as well.

I think the avg package u will get is more than 3 lacs. I already said u have to take the final decision. It depends on ur luck that which company u r going to be served. I cant say rigidly anything. but u may get good package also

Yes, its not so difficult. you can easily learn it. also if u know oops concepts, u can learn any object oriented language like java, C++ and C#

I have asked the same problem to different centres and they told me you have to clear the exam and submit d resultsheet till the last date mentioned as per the details, then its fine but if you failed then your course will be cancelled n the fee will not be refunded to you because they will take an underwriting from you about it!!

i have some of my friends in sunbeam...i really dont think its good to join such authorised centers like sunbeam etc..instead u shud go for cdac hyderabad..its placements as well as teachings are equivalent to pune(HQ)..even me too will go for CDAC HYDERABAD n not for authorised center like SUNBEAM..

Teaching wise hyd can be better but Pune will give u more options. So, PUNE DESD will be the better of two in terms of placemnt.

I am currently doing M.Tech(JNTU Hyderabad).I got PG-DAC course at Banglore(E-city).I am 2013 passout B.Tech.

My Percentage is
10th -- 74%
12th -- 59%
B.Tech--59%

I am confused whether i should go for PG-DAC course or try next time after completion of my M.Tech for good center like Pune ACTS.What will be the placement scenario if i take admission on the basis of B.Tech and leave the M.Tech??

I think u should complete ur mtech first and then try for these courses. You Mtech would help u bcs u have less than 60%. So a degree like Mtech will help u a lot. Also, getting a good centre like Pune is equally important to get some good options.

Hello Sir,
I had been allotted PG-DIVESD at CDAC Noida after the first round of seat allotment . I had seen the views of some people which says regarding this course that course is not that much good in regard of placements and centre is also not good.
So, Sir what would you suggest me either to wait for 2nd Round of Seat Allotment or to lock the above allotted preference.
I had got the Rank of 1168 in the Section A+B+C and the Rank of 3673 in Section A+B .
The Courses which i had applied is PG-DESD, PG-DVLSI, PG-DIVESD and PG-DWiMC.
I had been allotted the 4th Priority in Course-Centre Preference List. Sir, if i go for the second round of Seat Allotment would i get the 1st Priority i.e., PG-DESD at CDAC-PUNE or 2nd Priority i.e., PG-DESD at CDAC Bangaluru ( Knowledge Park ) or 3rd Priority i.e., PG-DESD at CDAC Hyderabad as per my rank ?
There are 933 candidates above my rank in PG-DESD.

Yes, they will teach you. Also, in other courses as well, they used to teach aptitude at the end for the sake of better placemnts of the batch bcs companies used to ask aptitude first.

Dont go for CDAC Noida, it has been never good in terms of placemnt. So its obvious that Bangalore is better.

chance is there but Dwimc is a good course too. I dont think being an EC guy will create any problem. Infact EC guys are preferred by companies over other IT guys from diff courses.

Kindly try for the next CCAT. Its a good investment too! so you shluld get a good centre so that u can get a good job. With this rank, the CDAC will not be worth to do.

Actually I have kept bangalore e city after iascd akurdi,so I Cnt get that in 2 round, but m thinking to change my preference after 2 round, my current preference are -

Sunbeam pune
Iascd akurdi
So there r hardly any chance to get sunbeam pune even in 3 rounds,, is there any chance?
so should I go with iascd akurdi,? or change my preference in 2 round and go for bangalore e city? coz iascd akurdi Is in pune CCCP which is better or even city? and bangalores would be costly to live in :-(

Hii Anup sir,
i need to ask you a few questions ,first a brief about my scenario
i have 60%++ marks in 10th 12th and BE,i m a 2014 ECE passout,have a year gap due to medical orthopedic reasons ,i had given CCAT on 8th June and secured 494 in A+B+C,410 are above me for DESD and 225 were above me for DIVESD,i have been granted DIVESD in Sunbeam Gultekdi after the first round although it was my second pref. ,my first pref. was ACTS PUNE for DESD,so i have a few questions
1) Is this possible that i might get a seat in ACTS pune for DESD in the second round of allocation,i really wanted to Do DESD in ACTS
2)suppose if i dnt get DESD ,shall i continue with Divesd in sunbeam,i dnt know anything regardding its placement.
3)more over will it be a disadvantage for me in placements ,as i am having lower percentage that is if i take up DIVESD course in sunbeam.
4)How are the studies in sunbeam gultekdi for DIVESD,i am willing to give my 100% regardless of what i get....
PLEASE reply ASAP,the suspense its really killing me...i am damn confused

Arindam, I think u should try for DESD. Although u have got a very good centre which can give u ample opportunities even if the course is not well established like DIVESD. DESD is better in terms of placemnts. But If I say abt sunbeam Gultekdi, its a very good institute both in terms of placmnts as well as faculty. Just see one more round and then decide. You can continue with the same option then. Its good too!!

Sir, please tell how is WIMC course at CDAC Bangalore KP? How is the placement there?

My rank in CCAT is A+B =946, A+B+C= 773 ... I opted for DESD @ Pune & Bangalore as my 1st & 2nd choice. My 3rd choice was WIMC Bangalore KP.. Also I have given 4th choice as DESD @ Hyderabad.
Sir, Please suggest whether I can get DESD in any of my choices(1st or 2nd or 4th) after 2nd round or 3rd round.Is there any chance?

Please answer as I am utterly confused about the prospect of studying WIMC at Bangalore KP.

If you have sound knowledge in C, then its very good. One thing u can do in advanced is to study C++ bcs it would be the base for u. Learn concept of oops with C++. that would be enough.

Actually I have kept bangalore e city after iascd akurdi,so I Cnt get that in 2 round, but m thinking to change my preference after 2 round, my current preference are -
Cdac pune
Sunbeam pune
Iascd akurdi
So there r hardly any chance to get sunbeam pune even in 3 rounds,, is there any chance?
so should I go with iascd akurdi,? or change my preference in 2 round and go for bangalore e city? coz iascd akurdi Is in pune CCCP which is better or even city? and bangalores would be costly to live in :-(

Yes C++ and concept of oops would be the basics for u. What ever u r saying is the specialization part of the module. If you can do that in advanced its good. If u r easy wid the classes then its ok. It all depends on ur grasping power. If u r interested in doing these in advance that would be good. First of all go through the syllabus in detail and then start Ravi!!

Chance can be there but I have no info regarding any centre of Mumbai. Also, u can see C-CAT next time bcs u r gng to invest a fine amount of money too, so it always be good to get a good centre. Doing CDAC just like that wont serve ur purpose.

It does not matter from which stream you are coming from. Your interest will decide and many times interest arises when u face a new thing. As of now I can say WIMC will suit you better than others bcs u r an EC guy. So dont think about that. Just make urself prepared...

Thats good to have KARAD. I suggest you to go for it. Also it will get same campus like Sunbeam and CDAC Pune. I mean a commpn placemnt program would be there and karad will also participate. You should go for it. All the best.

CDAC Noida is not good in terms of placemnts Ajit. I can't suggest you to join it. DESD at Pune can be the best, then bangalore and then at HYD.

No need to have personal laptops. Labs would be open there 24 hrs for you. The only thing u have to see how far u r going to stay from the centre. If they r providing the lodging facility nearby, then that would be good. If you have own laptop , then u should carry it along wid u. This is what I can suggest... and congrats to have CDAC PUNE.... Its cant be firmly said that DESD banglore is better but It may be. Although its sure that its not better than Pune. If you have 60 perc thorughout u can go for DESD HYD. Placemnt chances are good but may be fewer than bangalore KP. You can go for it . Its your choice if u wanna do wid a good rank u can wait.

Harish , I knw its 89K but still u see ur marks are not going to change in ur life. So why u r thinking like that. You should have try ur luck at the right time. You cant change ur marks but the efforts can be made by u only. So just go forward and ty ur best in CDAC. Yes, you may get these number of chances or more, provided a good centre. All the best...
